When Clouds Collide

It’s been a summer of storms on Red Pine Mountain. Today’s storm was particularly severe with high winds, blinding rain and hail. But tonight the sun tried to conquer the clouds and produced one of the most incredible sunsets over our mountain I’ve ever seen. Here’s my attempt to capture nature at one of its finest moments.

One of “its finest moments” indeed. Beautiful representation of the calm “after” the storm. Thank you for sharing.

I just heard last night that Vermont and surrounding states have had one of the coldest summers for quite some time. Hope it improves for you before the cold weather months return.

Nice shots–I’m sure it was even more beautiful than the pictures! God does good work!

What beautiful pictures! I just wished we could have a little of the rain..minus the hail and wind.
It has been so hot and dry down this way. Maybe next week.
Have a great weekend!
