Update

Katie returned to the vet for a re-check. She is healing nicely, has no infection and no temperature. My vet said she had a particularly nasty tear, 100% of the ligament, but with time she’ll be back to normal. He was worried about her recovery because whippets tend to be very sensitive dogs but he’s pleased with her progress and she is once again sleeping in our bed and cuddling under the covers at night although days are still spent in her crate resting.

I appreciated all of your comments about Entrecard. Jewelry Rockstar was right; I do obsess over card dropping. In particular I am concerned for my advertisers. I’ve been privileged to have wonderful blogs advertise on my widget and when I’m not dropping many cards they don’t get very many click throughs then I feel guilty I haven’t done my best for them. And, when I open my dashboard and see all those wonderful cards, it is very hard for me not to reciprocate the drops. But, on my satellite internet, dropping 300 cards takes between four and five hours and I am not willing to spend that much time at the computer.

That being said I’ve taken all of your comments into account and I’ve decided to leave my widget.
