The Rehoming Continues

Thanks everyone for your comments on the latte bowls. I’m happy to say they have found a new home. If you get a chance to try one, you might enjoy it. They are not too hot to hold and they are actually kind of fun. I decided not to keep any because I have an even larger one I use every day (I LOVE coffee) and I’m under strict orders from Mountain Man to downsize. We have exciting adventures planned in the near future but that’s still a secret for the moment.
Anyway, after carting boxes to The Salvation Army this morning, I still have more to rehome; namely plates. They are decorative plates and I’m not sure if they can be used for eating. They are salad size and I have no idea if they are dishwasher or microwave safe. Anyway, there are 4 of them. If one person is interested, they will get all four, if 2 people are interested, they will each get two. If three people are interested, they’ll each get one and if more than 4 people are interested, I’ll have a drawing by random selection. Here’s the pictures. Each design is different and if you have a preference, please state it. Just depends on how many people are interested to see if I can accommodate preferences.

The reverse side says “Handcrafted in China” but then it also says “Warner, New Hampshire” so who knows? I’ll leave this giveaway open until Sunday, May 22nd.
I hope you’re enjoying the rehoming concept. I think it would be fun to see it on other blogs.
Thanks for visiting us!

Sara, I don’t need any more stuff. I’m like you. I need to get rid of a lot of stuff and reclaim my basement area. That’s probably not going to happen while I have projects outside and the weather is nice. But someday. :0) Here in rural Nebraska it is well known about slurping coffee from a saucer. It sounds like that same kind of method of cooling the hot drink. If we have a stale donut just dunk it in the coffee and it will soften right up. Rural folks here don’t like to waste anything and high level proper etiquette is somewhat on the back burner. I just love those small town cafes with the heavy white cups and plates for the coffee and food. If I’m lucky I could actually get a cup with character and have some coffee stain or a small crack in the handle. It’s very clean mind you but it just has some rural character from high usage. The small town cafe is where the farmer meet in early morning to catch up with what’s going on in the area. The food is no where good for you and filled with cholesterol but it sure tastes good and the atmosphere is one that makes you feel warm and cozy inside even if no one there knows you. Any one of those farmers would strike up a conversation with you in a heart beat if you so desired. It’s one of the reasons, I think, why they call it the heartland of the country. Of course I am partial because I’ve been born, raised, and most likely will die here but I think it’s the best place in the world to live. Other places are nice to visit but there’s no place like home.
Have a great no place like home Vermont Day.

Those are very nice plates, I’m a mountain person myself but my wife would like them. Count me in.

Very pretty plates! My sister in law loves collecting lighthouse items and she would love one of these plates!

They are beautiful, Sara, but I, too, am in the midst of a massive downsize. I still have no moved and my move is way overdue. I’ve been hauling stuff to Goodwill and trying to sell things on Craig’s List – I really need money!! I have to put things in storage.
Will you please send me you mailing address. My email is rnsane@prodigy.net. I want to send you one of my poetry books.
