Spring The Northeast Kingdom Way

I woke up to snow swirling all around, big beautiful flakes, covering green grass and turning the world white once again.

Mountain Man says it won’t last but I’m hoping it will. What’s the weather like where you are today?

Sunshine here finally and thankful for it! I was so tired of winter weather, all wet and grey. We did have huge hail a few days ago so it’s pretty fickle here too.

No snow here, but was cold enough last night. Love the black capped chickadee in last 2 photos………they sooooo friendly. Only see them in the country….don’t know why?

The spring flowers are popping and the tree’s are budding. Daytime temps are very seasonal with the occasional higher temps. Spring is not my favorite time but it is very nice to be outdoors.

Time for that snow to go away! We had a gorgeous day today–sunny and mid 60s. Took Abby to the park and had a wonderful time watching her bar at the squirrels, sniff other dogs and enjoy the outdoors.

It was a beautiful day here on the farm in Kansas…still is beautiful but cooled down to 73′ at 7:15pm. Got strawberry plants in and hopefully tomorrow I’ll plant most of the rest of the veggie seeds. Hope your snow is gone tomorrow and the sun is out and spring is back again for you! Have a wonderful Sunday…take care. Maura

goodness, it was in the 80s here all weekend, and we hit low 90s a few days ago. And it’s only April!
Some days I would rather have a snowy winter than a hot season followed by a hotter season with what seems like nothing in between.

Beautiful once again today.

And I do not care to see those white flakes anywhere near me. Seen more than enough of them already in 2010!! Please keep them!!

Well, when you wrote this post we were on a yacht club weekend in Rio Vista, CA. It was windy and cool, but we all had a great party.

On Sunday morning we hurried back to our marina (by boat) just before a big storm moved in. We decided to spend one more night at the marina because it was too awful to drive home.

Today is Monday and we just got home a few ago. The weather is changing for the better and by next weekend we will be back in the mid-seventies where we should be. I’m happy about that.

Have a terrific day. :)

Oh my, you still have snow?

It was HOT here today in Tennessee, 80 degrees, and tomorrow is supposed to be 84. Everything is in bloom and beautiful – our world is in glorious colors of yellows, lilacs, pinks, whites, reds, and greens. Hope you have the same soon.

Snow again? It does look beautiful though. Your birds are looking for a handout, too, I see LOL.

I see that Mountain man’s been very busy………..

It’s getting pretty warm here in Arizona so I’m glad to be going back to Washington for the summer……..my garden awaits!
