It’s time for a new giveaway and this month I am spotlighting a fellow blogger, Karen Zemek. In addition to authoring a number of blogs, Karen is also the author of a delightful book about her father. Her book is great reading any time but it would be an especially nice gift for Father’s Day.
The contest is going to be conducted a little differently this time. Here are the rules.
Four copies of the book will be given away. The drawing date is June 12, 2009.
To enter:
Just leave a comment saying you would like to be entered into the drawing.
For extra entries:
5 extra entries will be given to you if you link back to this blog on your blog. If you decide to do link back, let me know in order for me to give you your extra entries.
10 extra entries will be awarded to you if you write something about a special man in your life and why you admire him.
If you link back to my blog and write something as well, you will have 15 extra chances to win Karen’s wonderful book.

I would like to be entered! The most special man in my life is my husband. He is an amazing guy because he works all day, then comes home and helps more than most with our son. He takes him for a two hour bike ride every day and gives him a bath before bed. He even cleans the house! I’m so lucky!

Having grown up with the most wonderful father, I am always interested to read about other people and their fathers. I was truly blessed to have such unconditional love and I miss him every day of my life. My father was raised in foster homes and yet did not let his youth hold him back.

Wow, it’s nice to see so much interest in winning my book here! I am also running a contest on my blog at http://karenzemek.blogspot.com/2009/05/fathers-day-contest-who-knows-harry.html and only have one entry so far! My contest ends June 1 which is based on knowledge rather than luck. I’m a bit disappointed in the response or should I say lack of response.

I had a one of a kind Dad. He loved his dogs…9 yorkies and they went everywhere with him. Can you imagine? Needless to say, he was not always welcome, but he was well known in his little town as Master of the Yorkies! I want to read this book because Harry has a dog that he is looking lovingly at, and so I know he must be a dog lover like my Dad.
