Thank you everyone for your comments and well wishes for the newcomers.
I’ve barely been able to tear myself away from the barn to come in at night. I’m having the time of my life with our new additions so as any proud Mom does, I’m going to share more pictures.
Bliss and Khrysta are inseparable. Alan asked if I separate them and I did at first but both of them became so upset, I’ve just turned them out together. They enjoy resting in the sun.

Sometimes they play hide and seek. Bliss hides under the pine trees.

Sometimes Khrysta hides behind me and Bliss has to search.

When I call them, Tigger and Trey come running.

And so do Bliss and Khrysta.

Khrysta has been scared of the donkeys but she’s starting to become more curious.

Not too close Trey!

I’ve started clicker training with Tigger and Trey. Find it is the first lesson.

And after a training session, what better way to relax than to kick up your heels.

And roll in the dirt.

All under a beautiful Vermont spring sky.

How was your weekend?

Wonderful pictures and what beautiful equines!

My goodness are those donkeys adorable. I told my husband I wanted one, but he disagrees. haha.
My weekend was wonderful and so was the weather, but apparently not for long…. get ready for more snow!

Awww…how sweet that Khrysta and Bliss are BFF’s! Thank you for sharing – no wonder you don’t want to leave the barn!!!

I have already asked my husband for a miniature horse and a donkey. He says they won’t get along with our rescued dogs(or any dogs). Any truth to this?

Hello Mountain Woman! Your little spotted donkey looks like our little Phoebe!!! Aren’t they just the cutest little critters. I love your Bliss too…I bet Khrysta LOVES having company…that’s so cute the way the play together. Congratulations on your new additions! Take care and have a wonderful day…..Maura:)

I have to admit that I would be wanting to leave the barn, either. It would be so much fun to watch them play and run around with each other. It’s great that you’re starting to clicker train Tigger and Trey. It sound as if you’re going to have a very busy and very fun summer

Thanks for posting more pics, I’ve been thinking about your new family. Happy to see everyone is finding their place.
How are the dogs doing with these new critters in their yard?

Gorgeous pictures of your menagerie, but I absolutely love the one of that beautiful Vermont sky!
We had a very stormy weekend; the same system that spawned killer tornadoes in Mississippi; luckily, we were spared the worst of it, even though at one point, we had rotating clouds low in the sky over our heads!

Those lil donkeys are so cute …. I wonder if they will be seeing Snow tomorrow……?
I don’t think I’d be afraid of filming a MINI donkey running towards me.

We think Trey is adorable! We loved the “kicking heels” picture!

Can the donkeys and the horses be together?? I don’t know about either. I love the horses together–that is just too darn cute.

absolutely beautiful. What fun! Congratulations on your new addition, I don’t blame you for not wanting to leave the barn at night

Animals are so much fun! Yours though are much bigger than mine, but I enjoy my little ones just the same. I hate leaving them to go off to work every day, but they are expensive so I have to work to keep them healthy. That’s interesting how they play hide-n-seek. Great shot of the little donkey kicking up its heals!

My favourite bit of cuteness is a toss up between Khrysta and Bliss resting in the sun together or Tigger and Trey rolling in the dirt. My weekend wasn’t near as adorable as yours!

So sweet and what a peaceful and serene setting. Sent you a private email to catch up. The photos are lovely!

You have a wonderful life there on the mountain with all the animals and MM. What does he think of the new arrivals? I tried to talk my sister into letting me have a mini donkey at her place but she said she’d rather not. She did have a mini horse but sold him. He was gorgeous to say the least and pulled a cart.

Ahh, they’re almost like children, aren’t they! Great photos!
Can I trade you some of our rain for some of your sun?
