Rainy Day with Khyrsta in The Pasture

Today, I was in the pasture playing with Khrysta. I was very privileged she allowed me into her world. My fondest wish is to be on her when she’s running as she did today. One day but for now I can watch and dream.
My little digital camera just doesn’t hold up well taking videos and I lost power at some of the best moments. If anyone can recommend a great video camera that doesn’t cost a fortune, I’d appreciate it.
She is such a beautiful horse, and these videos really show us her beauty as she runs! I love when she walks right up to the camera.
I don’t have a video camera (never used one as a matter of fact) so I can’t help you there. You’re one up on me already!

I’ve heard lighting is everything. I think the best light of the day is sunup or sundown (sunny day)…gives a soft warm golden light.
I’m looking to buy my first digital camera, might get a cheapy on ebay. I really don’t know much about them.
Sound would be nice with your videos.

I like my Flip camera. Gerard got it for me so don’t remember how much they are.

I am also in the market for a good digi video cam. I have borrowed a Flip and it was good in bright light but not as good in interior lighting. The video built into my Canon camera isn’t at all good. Karen,.. The Flips range from $100 – $200 I believe. I would also advise to not go too far on the “cheap” for a digi camera. I did the first time and it was money wasted as I had to buy a better one. Not sure if you had sound or not, but I hear the pounding of her hooves. Makes me want to ride again. Our horse Mabel loves to run, but she hasn’t been riden in about 3 years. Maybe that is something I’ll take back up this summer.

i need to get my granddaughter to look at khrysta- she LOVES horses
The pic was good. I dont recommend cameras and such I just dont have that kind of knowledge, but hubby always always said get as many pixtels as you could afford.
I got one of those little hand held ones for my dau to take pics/videos for me, and it works well. go to http://shoebeeshappenings.blogspot.com/ and look at her videos

Oh! She is a sight and a joy! I love her looks so much…sure wish I could have Wa there with her…amazing she is okay alone..Morgans are so cool that way!
I just have a pentax 8pixel camera I take all my video’s with…a larger card helps and 2 battaries!

My cousin told me about a video doodad called a Flipcam on amazon.com, on sale for $50.00. Records for 30 minutes and then download to your computer. She ordered 2, said it was a great deal.
