A while ago, I split my blog into a photo blog and a writing blog. For those of you who don’t have the time to visit the photo blog, I thought I’d post some of the photos here for change of pace.
This was the sky late in the afternoon looking towards the west.
This was photo was taken at the same time looking toward the East. The sunset was amazing. I watched as it went from a sliver of light until the entire mountain range was lit up with gold. It was one of the most remarkable sights I have ever seen. Even more so because of the way the sky looked in the other direction.
This picture was taken earlier in the day and is the view from the top of the pasture. Khyrsta decided to head back to her barn.
My beautiful girl.
I was actually sitting under her when I took this photo and I do not recommend you try this with any horse except one you know and trust completely!
If you want to see more Red Pine Mountain photos, just click on the link at the top of the page. As always, thanks for spending time on the Mountain.

It looks very cold, but that probably makes the sky all the more crystal clear – just beautiful! And Khrysta has such an expressive face – you can see her personality. I can tell you 2 have a close relationship, that you can trust her and she trusts you – she’s so cute!

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking the time to leave comments. Julia, I don’t clip or shave or do anything except let coats grow until April. She is the hairiest horse I have ever seen and she does have lots of whiskers.
