Moving Day!

March 14, 2010 Woods Walk 3

The big day is here at last and Red Pine Mountain has a new home.
Heather has worked miracles and has been supremely patient with me as I attempt to learn a new blogging platform. I’ve missed all of you! As you wander around, you’ll notice some changes. Mountain Man has his own page, I have my Daily Diary and there is a page very dear to me called “Share Your Hearts” which I hope will become a forum for you, my readers.

But what has been happening on the farm? We were spared the storms that raged throughout the Northeast. Oh, it’s been windy, but unseasonably warm, and, for the first time, since we left for the Ozarks, I ventured into the woods with Logan.

There is still plenty of snow underneath the trees.

I found what I think is a bear track.

Logan was busy counting rings on tree stumps.

And I was busy thinking about the beauty of nature in its many forms.

The snow has almost disappeared from the pasture.

And the skies, ever changing, are as beautiful as ever.

It is easy to be patient with someone so willing to learn. :)

And you need to give yourself credit, because I have certainly had new blog owners that are a bit too scared to dig in the way you have…you’re awesome!

I’m glad you love the new digs, but of course what makes them great are all these images and the way you share your life and heart in words.

Take care and blessings!

It is darn good to see you back! I have missed your posts and I have missed my daily trips to my favorite place, the NEK. It’s going to take me a little time to get used to your new set-up, but I will for sure. :) Welcome back!

Amazing job, both you and Heather. It looks so wonderful! Now I have blog-makeover envy. I really want mine to look different *sigh* Maybe someday I will be able to afford to have someone do it for me, and if I do I will definitely keep Heather in mind.

It’s unseasonably warm here too. But I am not complaining :)
