Mountain Man Mondays; Homecoming

He’s back! Mountain Man rolled in this morning after a 30 hour drive. If I had any idea he would sit down and rest, I was mistaken. No, he was back in action.

First he had to unload the truck and trailer.

Here’s a picture of the cargo box.  It proved to be a conversation starter at rest stops.  People came up to him and asked,  “What you got in there?”

Next task was to mow the overgrown grass.

He went all over the farm and then headed to the front yard.

When he got there, he finally realized he was tired and switched to the riding lawn mower.

At the moment, he’s out grocery shopping and then he’s coming home to make my favorite meal of grilled chicken and fresh veggies from our garden  And, although I was fine while I was alone, it’s just so much better when he’s here.

Welcome home, Mountain Man! I was going to say, doesn't he have a riding mower? That yard is way too big for a push mower. My husband is the same way, but, of course, we have a lot less yard than you to take care of. He's like that energizer bunny–goes, and goes and goes!

yes the box did look like a casket, he must have had to answer lots of questions. I am always intrigued by vehicles with tarps. I am always trying to guess whats under tarps. actually our family makes a game of it-Guess whats under the tarp, teehee, funny!

We are both very blessed women! Even with what's going on in our life Walter stopped after driving 550 miles yesterday to get home at the grocery store first!!

He picked up some goodies and then headed home.

He mowed the yard first thing, helped me do some things inside the house I can't because of my back and then he too also helped with dinner!!

I can just imagine that box did draw some attention and inquiries!! I am glad he is back home with you!!

I also want to thank you for your very kind words and support during this time in our life.

We are trying to keep busy and push on through life!!

I hope you have a great day!!

Sara! I'm sorry to be so out-of-pocket. I didn't even know MM was gone. I've been crazy busy and well, just pretty much crazy.

The man is amazing. And I'm glad he and the "casket" made it home. :)
