Goodbye old bathroom, hello first section of the new bedroom.
Mountain Man decides to break the concrete by hand. No jack hammer for him. He’s a glutton for punishment.
Goodbye old floor.
Mountain Man surveys the wreckage while I maintain a safe distance. I can’t tell you how much dust was in there. I was coughing the whole time.
Installing the insulated heat duct.
Down in the basement working on the new water line.
Putting in the sub flooring.
At work on the ceiling.
Getting there.
Putting up the sheet rock. I actually got to help.
The closets are framed. We decided to go with a his and hers side by side closet.
Looking so much better.
Hard to believe the scary old bathroom with the sloping concrete floor looks like this now. Still a long way to go but it’s coming along.

Hmm, I guess it was really dusty in your house today. There was still dust flying all through your post! (OK, I want to know how you did that!)
Mountain Man just amazes me! Where does he get his energy? I swear he's like my Dad–who was still flying his ultralight airplane at age 81!

I love seeing these as the renovations progress. He really is amazing! My husband John is the same sort only he doesn't build it all from scratch like Mountain Man. We're getting closer to have my " Room of One's Own " finished over here. I'm painting today ( again ) and will need to do an update soon.
I've been enjoying your blog and although not commenting as much lately … I always stop by whenever you have a new post.

Amazing!!! Breaking up concrete by hand?
Holding a big piece of sheetrock up above your head…arm killer! Did you get in on that??

Before you know it you will be sleeping in there!

I can not believe how fast you guys are moving. We have constant home projects too, but ours seem to drag out. :O)

And that was done in just one day!!!
Really Mountain Man is amazing! I can't help but wonder what he was like in his 30's. The thought makes me super tired.
Terry is a hard worker also. I guess you and I are lucky.

Coming right along! You got the Christmas tree up yet? That is one amazing MM. Grass doesn't grow under his feet! What vitamins does he take for all that energy? I'm tired just reading about it!

Amazing, as always. I hope he gets his own radio show or time slot on HGTV too. My husband and I are both rooting for him!

Way to GO, MM!

Tell him it is looking great and also mention please that I tend to do things the hard way to and I'm a glutton for punishment too so he doesn't have to be alone

So you are a Missouri Gal for the winter, welcome to the ShoMe state. I am enjoying your blog and the renovation. I hope our Missouri weather is kind to you, it is a bit chilly in our little part of Missouri. I think we are about 2 and 3/4 hours from you around the Jefferson City area. We spend quite a bit of time in Springfield. I am amazed at the transformation Mountain Man has worked on your place!

Mountain Man sure is talented…

The man is an absolute gem – but of course you know that. Unbelievable. He can accomplish more just thinkin' about it than ten people could actually doing it. I wanna trip over somebody just like him who's between projects and itching to work on something. BOY, could I keep 'em happy!

Hey! It is looking really good!

You are very industrious. You do it by yourself. Tough man.

I appreciate what you did. I just remember my father who used to fixed everything in our house. Sad to say, he wasn't here anymore.

It is looking great! It must be wonderful to have someone as handy as Mountain Man around.

That is a LOT of work! It's amazing the amount of work he is doing. I look forward to more photos.
