More Fall Pictures; If You Can Stand It

Yesterday, we went to Littleton, New Hampshire. The first set of pictures were shot from the moving car (you know by now Mountain Man stops for nothing) and it was a rainy day. The pictures are rather dark but I didn’t want to enhance them with Photoshop because I want the landscape to speak for itself.

Another day or two and we will be at peak color. It’s a magical place here in the Fall and my pictures can’t begin to do it justice. We’ll just have to have Blogstock in the Fall instead of the Spring.

Lots of traffic due to leaf peepers.  Usually we are alone on the highway.

The vistas from the road are just incredibly beautiful.  No shopping centers mar our scenery and no billboards allowed either.
On the road to our farm.

When I returned home, it was pouring and I went out and shot some more photos so these are of our farm.

Headed home to get warm by the woodstove.

There are flurries in the forecast today and soon the color will be gone here in the Northeast Kingdom.

WONDERFUL! I have always wanted to see New England in the fall. The photos are very beautiful. I love your new header and your farm. It is amazingly, achingly beautiful.

Fall color is so fleating that to capture it on film is special.

We are experincing HIGH winds, hot weather and a freeze warning tonight. Our normal time is the third week of October. This 'early fall' has caught lots of farmers in our area with beans still in the pod and hay still to be cut. The onions are in process of harvest now. They had better hurry time is running out.

How exciting to see photos of a place i've visited! I have family in Littleton, but it was summer when I visited; still lovely, but without the vivid fall colors you saw. Thank you for sharing with us!

*Blissful Sigh* oh you have my dream in your very hands! A gorgeous farm, beautiful scenery, and a loving husband who probably doesn't realize you have to pee more often than he does (okay, I have the last one too!).
I hope you have a great, toasty evening by the wood stove :)
