Countdown to Spring; Blog, Week 2, The Rules Have Changed

Well, everyone. The day is finally at hand. Namely, week two of the Count Down to Spring blog giveaway. The Prize to be awarded is a bird house made by Pam’s Farm Man. I’m sure you all know Pam, the author of Life on a Southern Farm.

Last week’s contest involved writing an essay and I was thrilled to feature Robynn’s amazing essay. Her essay even brought a visit from the renowned Pioneer Woman. But this week, I have decided to do the contest differently.

Here are the new rules:

1. In the comment section, leave a note that you would like to be entered into the contest. Then, please go visit Pam’s blog and leave a comment on one of her posts.

2. The contest will close on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:59 p.m.

3. On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, I will print off all the names of the people who entered, put them in a hat and have Mountain Man draw the winner. I will post the name of the winner on my blog on Wednesday, March 4th.

Everyone has a chance to win and the odds just depend on how many people enter.

I hope you enjoy this contest and the new rules.

Hi!
I’m from the beautiful foothills of North Georgia, have been writing poetry for years [seriously started after our youngest daughter was born with Spina Bifida]. Although I fail at times, I believe there’s so very much, every day, for which we should thank GOD and praise HIM.
I’ve njoyed perusing your site.
Always good to find GOD-honoring
friends on the net. I’ve enjoyed
Pioneer Woman’s website for quite a
while and was glad to find yours today.

Blessings,

What a wonderful idea for a contest. I want to enter, I plan on planting birdhouse gourds in the garden this year but I am sure there are some homeless birds on our farm that would consider that much nicer digs for a home.

That birdhouse looks real nice but we just don’t have any place to hang it. I’m sure my cats would like seeing more birds in our yard.
