I wanted to thank everyone for their messages and their words of support. I appreciate them more than I can say. I got hurt a little bit more than I thought and it’s been quite a while since I’ve felt like my old self. I’m finally on the mend and I know I’ll be okay because yesterday I picked up my camera once again and started photographing clouds. I didn’t play with Photoshop at all. The colors are all natural. It’s just so incredibly beautiful here. I’ll be catching up with all of you soon.
If you’re wondering about Khrysta, she’s fine. I was never angry or upset with her. She’s a very young horse and she is still quite green. I’ve been debating whether or not she’d be better off in a home with a more experienced rider but I’ve decided to keep on working with her. I’m going to send both of us to training with a “natural horsemanship” trainer.
Thanks everyone for being such good friends to me. It means a lot.

If horses are anything like dogs, they do get better and better as they get older…mentally anyways.

Working together with a horse trainer sounds like a good idea to me. I'm sure you will be able to work things out. Not sure I'd be as brave though after such a close call. My prayers are still with you.

Lovely photos. I am glad you are on the mend, seems like we don't bounce like we used to as we age.
It is good you are going to hang in there with Krysta, I have not regretted doing so with Jack-we just keep doing better with every ride.
We work with a trainer and go to clinics…we are in school together LOL

I could never blame a horse for being a horse, and my own injuries were my own fault, not the horse's. I'm glad you're OK, and even more glad that you're back!

Happy to hear you are mending so well. Funny thing, no matter how bad I feel, as soon as I pick up my camera, my feet somehow follow along.. And the pain seems to go away when the camera's in my hand, too…. amazing!

Those are fantastic pictures! Could you send some of those clouds our way? I hope you are having a relaxing weekend. I'll be making a bunch of tomato soup today (Sunday). Once those things start coming, they never seem to end. By the way, how did your garden turn out this year?

I love the clouds also. But more than anything I am glad you are up and about. And I'm glad you are keeping your horse. Youth needs to grow, that is all.
