Thanks everyone for visiting me. I always enjoy reading your comments and finding out about what’s going on where you live.
Darkness was about to descend and I was in the yard scooping poop before the dogs could eat their favorite treat; frozen poopsicles. The sky started to turn all kinds of amazing colors and I wanted to take some pictures. But with the dogs on a poop hunt, I had to finish my scooping. Chores done, I grabbed the shepherds and my camera but the colors were almost all gone.
The shepherds didn’t care about sky colors. They were in high spirits play fighting.

Mountain Man was still hard at work. He’s building a covered overhang for his cargo trailer.

But I was on a mission to capture what remained of the pink sky.

Not much left. It had been all pink.

Oh, well. I headed out to the poultry palace to check for eggs. It’s my favorite activity these days and there I found an egg to rival the sky; a most wonderful shade of sky blue.

Maybe today I’ll get a pink egg. Thanks for visiting us!

You had even more to wonderful images to show us. I just love getting lost in your walks and your world. I also love German Sheppards. they are the only big dogs we have had. they are the best dogs ever. We lost our last love a couple of years ago. I just haven’t been able to bring myself to replace her yet.
The sky, the snow, the dogs, oh just everything is beautiful! I hope you have another terrific day today!

Sunsets can be so beautiful, it is too bad that Mother Nature doesn’t allow them to last longer.
Which of your feathery girls laid the blue egg ? Years ago my mother had two ducks, mallards, a male and a female. Every so often they would have a nest and their eggs were a very pretty green. Unfortunately they tended to try and hide their nest so mom would have to hunt to find it, mom was never one for Easter egg hunts. LOL
Once she came across a very old nest of the ducks, the eggs were old, never hatched and mom had to throw them away. I think the only reason mom went to all the trouble of looking for the eggs is that she didn’t want a yard full of ducks. The ducks were great at keeping her garden free of slugs and snails though.

Never knew chickens laid BLUE eggs! I like when there is pink in the sky too. Somehow pictures don’t do it justice.

Hello Mountain woman! That’s too bad that you missed the colors but just seeing pictures of your beautiful farm and mountains is just as wonderful. Our dogs do the same thing here on the farm! I hope you’re having fun preparing for the holidays….take care.

I didn’t realize dogs would eat frozen poop – or any kind of poop.. Yuck, doesn’t sound too appetizing to me.
The sky is beautiful, even if you missed most of the sunset.
